Halloween Themed Soldering Workshop

Learn to solder at this workshop from The Hive! The second workshop of the semester features a Halloween themed soldering project, with free parts kits provided to students to take home afterward. This workshop is ideal for students who are unfamiliar or just beginning with soldering, although students with more advanced skillsets are of course welcome to attend! Freshmen and sophomores encourage to come too!


TI Workshop: Building a Game with TI LaunchPad

Monday, October 30 | 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Van Leer E457

Receive a hands-on deep dive into the TI LaunchPad development kit and the SimpleLink™ product portfolio. Learn how this family of microcontrollers introduces students to ARM® Cortex®-M, skills students will need in the industry, the different options for wireless communications and the multiple paths available to begin developing IoT products. Gain insight into TI's Real-Time Operating System through simple commands and learn how it can be used to manage complex applications such as a handheld game. Participants will need to bring a laptop loaded with the Code Composer Studio software and TI-RTOS for MSP432. (or use CCS Cloud). See the RSVP link for full details about the requirements!
