The Hive is Georgia Tech's student run Electrical
and Computing Engineering Makerspace
The Makerspace boasts a massive array of devices, tools, and gadgets, ranging
from Arduinos and Raspberry Pis to PCB mills and 3D printers. Slated to open in
the Spring of 2018 in the newly renovated Van Leer Fishbowl, the space is open and completely free of charge to use for all Georgia Tech students. It is staffed
by Peer Instructors (PIs) and Master Peer Instructors (MPIs) that are always
present to help students learn how to use the available tools and technologies.
